The Challenge

Liga, a brand that has been connecting generations since 1923, identified a growing communication gap between young and old. From emojis with new meanings to TikToks replacing photo albums, the disconnect was becoming increasingly visible.

The Solution

Together with FLEMMING, Liga launched ChatDuets: a digital activation that brought families together through music. The concept was simple but powerful: families could add FLEMMING to their WhatsApp group chat, record a duet together, and receive a personalized duet back from the artist himself.

Why FLEMMING?

The partnership was a natural fit. As FLEMMING himself stated: “At my concerts, I see brothers, sisters, and entire families singing and dancing together. That coming together through music reminds me of the bond with my own family. When Liga approached me, it immediately felt like a perfect match.”

ChatDuets successfully bridged the generational divide by meeting families where they already were—in their group chats—and giving them a shared experience through one of the Netherlands’ most beloved pop artists. The campaign reinforced Liga’s century-long mission while staying culturally relevant in the digital age.
